Elder Abuse is a heinous crime. Senior citizens are our gifts, our past, our future. Those that would take advantage of them or harm them physically deserve every effort and resource we can dedicate to correcting the problem.
Elder abuse isn't just physical abuse. It includes fraud where someone takes what belongs to the elderly. It includes theft of an elderly person's last remaining possessions. It encompasses any kind of despicable act against the elderly. It deserve our attention.
