Integrity InvestigationsPersonal Investigative Services: Public Integrity Investigations / Police Use of Force

Our job is to find the answers you need.

Public integrity investigations might involve:

  • Police officers who are abusing power
  • The police chief is granting special favors to certain people or using his authority improperly or illegally
  • A mayor or other government official who is doling out favoritism to his buddies and excluding other people from city contracts
  • Color of Law investigations (excessive force, sexual assaults, false arrest, fabrication of evidence, failure to keep from harm)
  • Banks, lenders, brokers, mortgage companies failing to abide with the Truth In Lending Act (TILA) and charging you higher rates than initially agreed upon.

Public integrity is an area on which we all rely; we expect our elected and appointed officials to "do right by us". When government officials or employees don't do what they are supposed to do or they take advantage of their position to the detriment of the people they are supposed to serve, then we get involved. Police officers are public officials and just like every other public official, they should be held to a higher standard then the general public. Police officers who condone improper or illegal actions by their co-workers are violating their oath of office and are just as guilty as the corrupt officer. They should be accountable too.

Any person can suffer abuse by overly zealous law enforcement or police act
